James Sundstrom

Assistant Professor of Instruction, Temple University

About me

I am a professor at Temple University. This semester, I am teaching Calculus II and Linear Algebra. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, where my advisor was Ted Chinburg. My research is in number theory. More specifically, my thesis work involves using analytic methods to find lower bounds for co-volumes of subgroups of units of number fields. These co-volumes are natural generalizations of the regulator of a number field.
