Your grade will be comprised of (more or less) weekly problem sets (20%), two in-class midterms (25% each, October 12 and November 14), and a final (30%, which is set for December 14, 10:30-12:30).

(Note: Test 2 has been moved to Tuesday, Nov 14)

What the class is all about. Your garden variety first semester course in real analysis. Topics include the point-set topology of Euclidean spaces, rigorous notions of completeness, sequences and their limits, limits of real-valued functions, continuity, and differentiability.

The "official" syllabus can be found through this link. (This is where you can find all the potentially relevant university policies.)
