SIAM Activity Group on Linear Algebra

About us

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (opens in new window) sponsors Activity Groups (opens in new window) to foster activity in areas of applied mathematics or applications of interest to SIAM members not otherwise fully covered by SIAM.

The SIAM Activity Group on Linear Algebra (SIAG/LA) promotes research in linear algebra and its applications. The group organizes regular conferences and supports smaller, less formal conferences as requested by the membership. Additionally, the group sponsors two prizes.

The Activity Group adheres to the SIAG/LA Rules of Procedure (opens in new window).
