This bulletin board is an outcome of a meeting held by a few Ethiopian mathematicians at Temple University in June, 2001. The participants agreed to collaborate with the faculty of the mathematics department of Addis Ababa University ( AAU ) on various projects deemed essential in the training of mathematicians. It is envisaged that the bulletin board will provide a forum for exchanging ideas on mathematical education and research. A tutorial service will be provided primarily to undergraduate students in AAU taking courses in math. Participating faculty in AAU and abroad will post solutions for questions submitted to this bulletin. To the extent possible, attempts will also be made to offer guidance to AAU graduate students in math. From time to time, expository articles on important developments in math will also be posted.
