Syllabus This course and its continuation, Math 558, covers the core areas of analysis. It focuses on the development of Lebesgue measure and integration theory, differentiation, abstract measures and integration, Hilbert spaces, and Hausdorff measure and fractals. Emphasis will be on exercises and problems.


Homework Approximately every two weeks there will be homework that will be collected.

    Evaluation There will be two tests, and a comprehensive final exam. The final grade will be based on the homework, tests and final exam.
